Point Cloud Analytics of UAV data
Challenge
Together with an aerial mapping service provider and illustrated architecture, Point Cloud Technology took on the challenge of capturing reality 1:1 to provide insights for assets, sites, and built infrastructure. One focus was the data collection using a UAV to document the condition of buildings. The challenge was to create a platform for interactive assessments and inspections.
Solution
Point Cloud Technology delivered its platform to create a 3D digital representation of the reality captured by UAV. The platform provides tools to explore, survey and measure the data to gain insights. Classification and processing approaches were also used to automatically estimate the value of assets.
Result
